We are pleased to announce that the clubhouse will be re-opening on Monday 17th May 2021, you can socialise in a group of 6 people or 2 households. Up to 30 people can now meet outside.

Social distancing is still very important. You should stay 2 metres apart from anyone who is not in your household or support bubble where possible, or 1 metre with extra precautions in place (such as wearing face coverings) if you cannot stay 2 metres apart.

Situated alongside the A66 with easy access East & West, Appleby Golf Club can only be described as an 'Inland Links' course, The Open Champion, Willie Fernie used the contours of the land and the heather and bracken features to create our course to great effect. Sitting on a bedrock of Sandstone, Appleby is free draining so is playable all year round, which is a rare thing in Cumbria! The greens are renowned for offering the best throughout the year.

Our signature hole, the Bell Hole 15th, has Hilton Beck, out of bounds and a concealed green to contend with, but is worth the wait.
